Baird MWA Generator
Controlled MWA energy for efficient ablation workflows
The Baird microwave ablation (MWA) generator combines adjustable microwave output, integrated cooling, and real-time temperature monitoring.

Manufactured by Betters (Suzhou) Medical Co., Ltd. · U.S. sales and support by Baird Medical LLC.
2450 MHz
0–70 W
Maximum 60 W with T-series needles
3 modes
Built-in
Real-time
The Microwave Ablation System (BD-GT) is FDA-cleared for the coagulation (ablation) of soft tissue and supports physician-directed control from setup through energy delivery.
Energy delivery
No grounding pad required
The Baird MWA system delivers 2450 MHz microwave energy through a Baird MWA needle to generate heat within tissue. Unlike monopolar RF ablation, it does not require a grounding pad to complete an electrical circuit through the patient.

Output modes
Three output modes
Foot mode
Foot-switch activation supports hands-free microwave output when the clinician's hands are occupied at the sterile field or imaging interface.
- External foot switch
- 1–99 s
- Physician-directed

Interface visibility
Stay informed. Stay in control.
Power, time, operating mode, temperature, and cooling status stay visible in one real-time view. Visual and audible alerts indicate abnormal conditions, helping you stay focused and in control throughout the procedure.
Cooling & monitoring
Built-in cooling with temperature safeguards
Cooling is built into the system’s energy-delivery sequence. A peristaltic pump circulates water or saline through Baird MWA needles, and microwave output is enabled only after cooling is active. Real-time temperature monitoring and over-temperature protection work together to support controlled MWA delivery throughout treatment.

Indications & Safety
Rx only. The Microwave Ablation System (BD-GT) is indicated for coagulation (ablation) of soft tissue. Not intended for cardiac use. Contraindicated in patients with massive bleeding tendency; not recommended for pregnant women; use caution in patients with severe coagulation dysfunction. Potential risks and complications include pain, bleeding or hematoma, swelling, thyroid-function changes, voice changes, and injury to nearby structures. Refer to the Safety Information and the Instructions for Use.
