Dr. Helmi Khadra Visited Guangzhou to Explore Advancements in Microwave Ablation (MWA)

From November 21 to 23, 2024, Dr. Helmi Khadra, Chief of Endocrine Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital, visited Guangzhou, China, to deepen his understanding of microwave ablation (MWA) technology for thyroid care. During his visit, Dr. Khadra observed numerous live MWA procedures performed by esteemed experts Dr. Jianhua Zhou and Dr. Feng Han at the renowned Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center. These cases provided him with valuable insights into the advanced application of MWA for treating benign thyroid nodules.
